City Weekly writer Josh Loftin wrote a fantastic piece the other day called Cow Farts Create Hot (Legislative) Air.  It is a must read for anyone who wants to know why they should care what local government is up to.

Not only does Josh point out that our government officials are wasting time on (non)topics like taxing cow farts, he also highlights the fact that the (non)topic is for a (non)action- resolutions.  Or maybe they should be called resolutions*, since they don't actually resolve anything.

But its easy to say our local politicians waste their(our) time with foolishness, Josh actually shows us how, with time updates and talking point highlights.  So read the article.  If it doesn't piss you off, read it again.  Its not satire my friend.  Read it again.
