While browsing at Barnes and Noble today, I came across a section titled "Religious Fiction".  Hmm.  Isn't that a little like saying "Cordless Cell Phones:?

"I don't generalize, but everyone who drives a Cadillac is an asshole."

The billboard from a local bank reads "We haven't forgotten that trust must be earned."  Hmmm.  Do they think we have forgotten billboards are full of bull shit?

Have you seen the anti-smoking ad comparing cigarettes to a dead cat?  I guess because the dead cat (if preserved?) and cigarettes both contain formaldehyde.  Trace amounts in the cigarettes.  Like trace amounts found in furniture.  So wouldn't it be more accurate to compare smoking cigarettes to smoking furniture..?  No, that would be ridiculous.  And mis-leading.
